Hi, I am Nadia, I am originally from Lisbon, Portugal where I grew up. After having studied for several tears, I qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon in 2012.
After qualifying I spent over a year in a small animal practice in Portugal but I have always wanted to live and work in the UK, so having achieved Royal College approval to work in the UK I started working in a practice near Boston, Linc’s but now I am enjoying working here in Terrington. I have a varied interest in different areas of Veterinary work but for now I am concentrating on first opinion small animal work.
My interests include reading, going to the cinema and learning about all different cultures.
Colin Hodgins MVB MRCVS qualified in 1988 and started his veterinary career in East Anglia. He then went on to further studies and a year working in Canada and the USA. When he returned to the area he met his future wife (a Kings Lynn girl!) and they now have two grown-up children and one grandchild.
He has worked in a variety of private clinics in four different countries, and brings over 20 years of experience to the practice. He comes from his most recent employment in a small animal hospital in West Yorkshire, and has a keen interest in surgery.
Having worked at Terrington Veterinary Centre from shortly after it opened, he is now clinical director and responsible for the running of the practice with the management team.
He now has two Labradors called George and Honey, whose duties include digging the garden and “getting up to no good”!!
He enjoys music, films and reading; walking, canoeing and travel
Natalja qualified from Latvia University of Agriculture, faculty of Veterinary medicine in 2013 and joined us here in Terrington in 2016. Her Veterinary interests include Internal Medicine and Ultrasonography. Natalja is passionate about cats and really enjoys seeing all the ones that come into the surgery.
I am Inga, I graduated in 2013 in Lithuania and 6 months later moved to the UK to pursue my Veterinary career, I work with small animals and enjoy my work a lot, I am very interested in small animal surgery and am studying for a certificate in this to improve my skills and provide good care for my patients.
In my free time I like to travel and visit new places and I also enjoy indoor climbing which keeps me fit.
Information and picture coming soon...
I qualified from the University of Wroclaw in Poland as a veterinary surgeon and have seen practice in several different countries (Serbia, Turkey, Slovakia, United Kingdom) including at specialist referral centres. I joined the team at Terrington Vets in 2016 to start my veterinary career in the UK. I am especially interested in surgery and hope to pursue my specialist qualifications in this area in the near future. My second passion is emergency and critical care as I like challenges.
In addition to my veterinary degree I hold a Masters in biology and during my veterinary studies I worked extensively with microbiology and infectious diseases. I have presented new research at several conferences around the world. Some of this involved working with several different types of wildlife such as birds and wild equids.
In my spare time I like exercising, traveling and reading books.
